BEARS

At VIP Childcare, we have our 2-3 room for our toddlers or as we like to call them; the bears. Our experienced, energetic staff strive to provide care in a vibrant and nurturing environment which allows our bears to flourish and develop independence. The team provide a challenging array of both structured activities and spontaneous play opportunities to support development.

Each child will be assigned a keyworker who will spend time with your little one and record any of their personal achievements from new skills to new experiences during their time at VIP.

We recognise that parents and carers know their children best and we value using your knowledge to ensure we are best supporting your very important little ones! Each child has a care plan which is reviewed regularly to ensure we have all the important information we need to help your little ones thrive. Care plans detail information from medication and allergies to sleep routines to favourite toys.

Staff regularly review play spaces in accordance with relevant documents and guidance to provide a stimulating environment with different activities and resources on offer each day.

At VIP Childcare, we love outdoor learning. We aim to get all children outdoors every day; rain, snow, wind or shine!

To ensure children are as comfortable as possible during outdoor learning, we kindly ask parents provide weather appropriate clothing.

Hot weather: Sun cream, sun hats and light clothing.

Cold weather: Waterproofs, outdoor shoes, jackets, hats, scarves, gloves.

We kindly ask all items are labelled to ensure we can keep them in the right place and prevent items going missing.

We aim to communicate effectively with our parents and carers.

We use an Interactive Learning Diary throughout your child's session to keep you updated throughout the day for peace of mind. This updates you on nappy changes, sleep times, meals eaten, medication administered and so much more!

We also use this app for your child's keyworker to post observations for your child's learning journey. Staff will also post a daily summary of play and activities.

Additionally, we regularly host parents meetings and open evenings for regular check ins with your child's keyworker.

FUNDING AND SESSIONS

The sessions for our toddlers are;

Morning session; 8am-1pm

Afternoon session; 1pm-5:30pm
Full day; 8am-5:30pm

We offer the 1140 funding to eligible two year olds on an all year round model.

For our funded toddlers, the sessions are;

Morning session; 8am-12:45pm

Afternoon session; 12:45pm-5:30pm

For all of our toddlers, snacks and meals are included in costs and covered by funding.
