FOXES AND DEER
Our nursery provision delivers the 1140 funding model for our anti pre-school (ages 3-4) and pre-school age (ages 4-5) children or as we like to call them; the foxes and deer. Experienced and enthusiastic staff develop positive relationships with children to nurture their individual personalities, build confidence and develop independent skills ready for their move onto P1.
Each child will be assigned a keyworker who will spend time with your little one and record any of their personal achievements from new skills to new experiences during their time at VIP.
We recognise that parents and carers know their children best and we value using your knowledge to ensure we are best supporting your very important little ones! Each child has a care plan which is reviewed regularly to ensure we have all the important information we need to help your little ones thrive. Care plans detail information from medication and allergies to sleep routines to favourite toys.
Staff regularly review play spaces in accordance with relevant documents and guidance to provide a stimulating environment with different activities and resources on offer each day.
To provide the best care and learning for our foxes and deer, we use a variety of documents and guidance to inform our care plans and daily provision. Please click on the icons below to find out more about some of the documents and guidance we follow!
